Weekly Workouts [week 242]

I think I need to update these weekly workout posts, I just don't know how I want to do it. I like keeping myself accountable this way, it really helps more than you think, but they're clustered on here now that I moved to this new site. I'm going to play around with the layout a bit for next week!

Week 242

Sunday, 4.8: Ran the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in 1:59:33--A PR!!!! :-D
Monday, 4.9: Skipped my Fit Barre class because I was overly exhausted and needed a break.
Tuesday, 4.10: Didn't do an early morning workout, but got to the gym after work, attempted to run 2 miles but just ran 1 in 10:15--my legs felt like lead :(
Wednesday, 4.11: Got up early and did a kettlebell workout at home!! It wasn't as intense as usual, but I broke a sweat and that's what matters :)
Thursday, 4.12: No early morning today, but went to Kettlebell Class after work which is always a great thing!!!
Friday, 4.13: Did a kettlebell workout at home which was awesome!! I found a great YouTube channel to follow so it was really challenging & great!
Saturday, 4.14: Decided against running my 8K tomorrow (Kona Cheesecake) because of a winter storm warning out for us, and I was going to run it today but I got lazy and didn’t :(

TOTAL WEEKLY MILEAGE: 11.27 miles

Pits
*Skipped my Fit Barre class on Monday which made me feel a little guilty, but I know my body needed the rest....
*Tried to run on Tuesday night and my legs just felt awful :( I need to rest more I guess.

Peaks
*Ran the Cherry Blossom in 1:59:33--A PR AND IT WAS THE BEST LONG DISTANCE RACE I HAVE EVER RUN!!!!!
*Got up and did a kettlebell workout at home on Wednesday!! Felt great to get up and move in the morning again & I was reminded why I like working out at home, because I can look however I want to look & no one judges, lol.

Week 243

Sunday, 4.15: Run 8K on treadmill.
Monday, 4.16: HIIT Workout/Fit Barre class.
Tuesday, 4.17: HIIT Workout.
Wednesday, 4.18: HIIT Workout/7 miles.
Thursday, 4.19: HIIT Workout/Kettlebell class.
Friday, 4.20: 2 miles.
Saturday, 4.21: Rest.
