Feeling a lot of thoughts about running lately. I've got a big post going up later this week, but it will hopefully get me focused and feeling like myself again!

Week 243

Sunday, 4.15: Did a 30 minute total body burn workout at home. It was nice to switch things up a bit, but I'm guilty I didn't run. My race originally planned for today got cancelled anyway due to bad weather.
Monday, 4.16: No early morning workout, but went to my Fit Barre class after work and felt great!!
Tuesday, 4.17: Did a 30 minute kettlebell strength workout at home after work. It felt really good to just move my body even though it wasn't a lot--I was exhausted and went to bed early because of it, haha.
Wednesday, 4.18: Didn't get to the gym early like I wanted, but I still went after work and ran a 5K in 32:34, which is GREAT after not running in a week!!! :)
Thursday, 4.19: No morning workout, but went to a GREAT Kettlebell class after work with my friends!!
Friday, 4.20: Rested.
Saturday, 4.21: Rest.

TOTAL WEEKLY MILEAGE: 3.10 miles

*I am blaming the weather for the fact that I haven't been able to get motivation to go to the gym early anymore. And I'm mad about it >:-[
*I think I may have been over training lately. It would help explain why I have no motivation and feel like it's harder to get a run in, because I am trying to push myself too much with my scheduled runs. I am going to cut back on the amount of runs I build into my week because the other workouts I do really supplement that.

Peaks
*Ran a 5K on Wednesday after work and it felt GREAT!!! So glad I got the motivation to do that :)
*Kettlebell class on Thursday was intense and awesome. Our instructor really pushed us a little more than usual and it felt great!

4 WEEKS UNTIL CLEVELAND HALF!

Sunday, 4.22: Rest.
Monday, 4.23: LEGS: HIIT Workout/Fit Barre class.
Tuesday, 4.24: BACK+BICEPS: HIIT Workout/3 miles.
Wednesday, 4.25: CHEST+TRICEPS: HIIT Workout/6 miles.
Thursday, 4.26: ABS: HIIT Workout/Kettlebell class.
Friday, 4.27: LEGS: HIIT Workout.
Saturday, 4.28: 6-7 miles.
