Weekly Workouts [week 249]
I really pushed myself this week, and I was sore in such a good way. I've missed that feeling and can't wait to keep it up!! I'm also attempting a 4-week Kettlebell Challenge starting today so hopefully that will be good!!
Sunday, 5.27: Rested.
Monday, 5.28: Went to Fit Barre class early in the day for a Memorial Day special class and it was SO GOOD!!! It was a little more intense than my usual class and it really kicked my butt. Good distraction since I had just dropped my boyfriend off at the airport.
Tuesday, 5.29: Went to a hot yoga class in the evening taught by one of my coworkers and it was AMAZING--hard, but amazing. AND SO FREAKING HOT!!! It's no joke, y'all. But it was a great class!
Wednesday, 5.30: Got to the gym early and went 5 miles on the stationary bike in 17:02! Felt great to get back up and at the gym. Then after work I went to Fit Barre class AND Tabata--first time trying Tabata and I really liked it!! I like doing the 20 second HIIT moves with 10 seconds rest in between, and it went by fast!!
Thursday, 5.31: Did not get to the gym early, but still went to Kettlebell class after work!! It was a great class--half kettlebells, half bootcamp. I love when our instructor does that :)
Friday, 6.1: Rested.
Saturday, 6.2: Rested.
TOTAL WEEKLY MILEAGE: 0 miles
*I really didn't have any pits this week, other than maybe going a little off track with food--not terribly, though--and skipping Saturday's run. Still, not a bad week!!
*Went to my first "real" hot yoga class on Tuesday and it was SO good--hard and hot, but really good and challenging. I'm so glad I pushed myself and went!!
*I inadvertently took 2 weeks off from running and I kinda love that I did. I feel zero guilt about it and also just feel really good. I think my body needed this break to remember how much I love running but also to enjoy all the other fitness activities that I do!
*I did THREE workouts on Wednesday....that was insane, lol. But I am proud that I dug deep and did them all!!

Sunday, 6.3: Rest.
Monday, 6.4: Kettlebell workout/Fit Barre Class.
Tuesday, 6.5: Bodyweight HIIT workout/2-3 miles.
Wednesday, 6.6: Kettlebell Shred workout/2 miles.
Thursday, 6.7: Cardio Tabata+Kettlebell Abs workout/Kettlebell class.
Friday, 6.8: Kettlebell HIIT workout/2-3 miles.
Saturday, 6.9: Fat Burning + Toning Kettlebell workout.
