Diet Bet - Summer Shape Up!
I struggle A LOT with getting back on track once I have fallen off. And I don't like that. I try a lot of different things when this happens so it seems like I am always bouncing from program to program. I'm not even going to deny that I do that, but I also think it's important to shake up your routine to find something that works and motivates you to get back to it.
That's what I'm doing with this Diet Bet.
I haven't really cared about my weight in a while. I've focused on counting macros since January, and while I am still really really really trying to get good at it, I can't get the fitness to fit the food part. So when I stumbled across Amy through her YouTube channel, it made my heart leap a little. Her workouts are easy to follow yet challenging and give you a GREAT sweat!! She posted about this Diet Bet and I decided to give it a shot.
I've done a Diet Bet before but wasn't in the right mindset for it. I have 3 weekends of traveling during this challenge, so it will definitely be a challenge to stay on track during those....but I need this to focus my mindset on something new.
***ALSO--super super important--just because I am participating in a "weight loss challenge" doesn't mean that I am in love with the scale all of a sudden. The scale is still a rough thing for a lot of people. I don't obsess over my weight, but I do well when presented with a challenge so I want to see how I do. PLUS, it's only 4 weeks. If after that time I feel too attached to my scale, I'll throw it out. But I am just hoping to get back to a healthier mindset, focus on becoming stronger & loving myself a little extra :)
